We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our rent-to-own retail team. This role is responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and helping customers find affordable solutions for furniture, appliances, and electronics through flexible payment options. The ideal candidate has prior sales experience and thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Greet customers and deliver a welcoming, high-energy in-store experience 
  •  Identify customer needs and recommend products that fit their lifestyle and budget 
  •  Clearly explain rent-to-own agreements, payment terms, and benefits 
  •  Close sales and meet or exceed individual and store sales goals 
  •  Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals 
  •  Maintain showroom appearance, including merchandising and cleanliness 
  •  Process sales transactions and complete required paperwork accurately 
  •  Assist with marketing efforts, promotions, and in-store events 
  •  Follow up with customers regarding payments, satisfaction, and renewals 
  •  Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations 
Qualifications

  • Required: Previous sales experience (retail or commission-based preferred) 
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  •  Proven ability to close sales and meet targets 
  •  Customer-first mindset with a positive, outgoing personality 
  •  Ability to explain financing or payment plans clearly and confidently 
  •  Basic computer skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems 
  •  Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications

  •  Experience in furniture, appliance, or rent-to-own industry  
  •  Experience with upselling and cross-selling

Work Environment

  •  Retail showroom setting 
  •  Work Hours- Mon, Tues, Fri 11-7  Wed 9:15-5, Sat 9-4

Compensation: $14.00 per hour
